Accuracy and availability of website information

We take care to keep the information on our website accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that it is complete, current or error-free. Content is provided for general information only and may change without notice.

We do not guarantee that the website will always be available or uninterrupted. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of the website for business or operational reasons, and we will try to give reasonable notice where we can.

Links to third-party websites

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, suppliers, our Instagram profile, or other external platforms. These links are provided for convenience and interest only. We do not control these websites and are not responsible for their content, products, services or privacy practices. Following a link is at your own risk, and we recommend reading the terms and privacy policies of any website you visit.

Website content is general information only

The content on our website is provided for general information about Planalto Design and our approach to interior design. It does not constitute professional design advice, and it does not create a designer–client relationship between you and Planalto Design.

You should not rely on the content of the website as advice for your own project. Every space and client is different, and any design guidance must be tailored to your specific circumstances.

Formal interior design services

Any interior design services we provide to you are separate from your use of this website. Where you engage us, our services will be governed by a separate written client agreement, which will set out the scope of work, fees, responsibilities and other terms. Those terms, and not these website terms, will govern our working relationship.

Limitation of liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to that, we will not be liable to you for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the website, or your reliance on any content on it. In particular, we will not be responsible for any loss that is not a foreseeable result of our breach, or for any business losses.

This section relates to your use of the website only. It does not affect the terms of any separate written client agreement.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms, their subject matter and their formation are governed by the law of England and Wales. You and Planalto Design agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these terms or your use of the website.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the one that applies to your use of the website. Please check this page occasionally so that you are aware of any changes.

While they have been drafted with the law of England and Wales in mind, your circumstances are unique.
